  • ALED-1317931 - I like to stand by my country, also. You never know. Maybe our Team USA can pull off a shocker! Does anyone recall the USA defeating Spain earlier this year and just falling short against Brazil? I know there are people who doubt for whatever the reason may be.

  • Bob - I feel your pain. I am a huge A's fan myself. I have to agree with you that losing against the Dodgers in Game 1 in 1988 did break the A's down.

  • I agree 100% with Jarmo!!!  Team USA over USSR in 1980 was and still is the hugest upset of all!!!  Think about it; we had some undersized college kids that beat a professional team!!!
